1) It's a busy weekend in the streets! Chosen Few Traditional Jazz Cultural Parade is happening Saturday at noon, Single Ladies are stepping out for their annual second line on Sunday at 1p, and Downtown Super Sunday is happening starting around 1p. Get all the information, plus hear our interviews with a Chosen Few co-founder and two Mardi Gras Indians-- Gang Flag Queen Kelly of Creole Osceolas and Roderick Sylvas of The Wild Tchoupitoulas-- at Takin' It To The Streets.

2) More great programming from the Jazz & Heritage Foundation! Doreen Ketchens will be performing two free shows at the Jazz & Heritage Center on Saturday, one at 8p and one at 9:30p. Doreen is a familiar face on Royal Street. Check out more about her story below, from the WWOZ Busker Blog. And on Wednesday, the next Sync Up workshop is happening. This month's topic is 'How Much To Spend On A Music Video.' The event is free to attend, and happening from 5:30-7:30p at the Jazz & Heritage Center.

3) The 2018 Freret Street Festival is happening on Saturday from 11a-6p. 3 stages of live music include performances from Jon Cleary with Walter Wolfman Washington, Cha Wa, Mike Dillon Band, Motel Radio, Margie Perez, Caesar Brothers Funk Box, and more.

4) The New Orleans Jazz Museum is hosting a Ragtime Festival on Sunday from 11a-4p. Performers include Steve Pistorius & the Southern Syncopators and Seva Venet's Storyville String Band.

5) Get outside and enjoy this beautiful weather! Wednesdays at the Square will feature performances from Flow Tribe and Daria & the Hip Drops this week, 5-8p at Lafayette Square.
