WWOZ at the Movies: Jazz Fest Edition

WWOZ and Indywood Movie Theater present three special music-themed films to coincide with Jazz Fest. Collectively, the films reveal a great variety of cinematic approaches to exploring musicians and their music, and showcase a variety of genres. WWOZ Piano Night Happens April 27

Piano Night is 'OZ's flagship benefit event and a tradition among lovers of New Orleans music. On Piano Night 2015, which happens April 27 at the HOB, we'll be honoring Henry Butler. Sync Up - the entertainment industry conference during Jazz Fest - makes its eighth annual appearance at a new venue: The George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. Sync Up includes seven days of educational and networking sessions for independent artists and industry professionals in music, film and digital media, presented by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. Admission is free, but seating is limited so advance registration is required.

Recipe: Shrimp and Andouille Beignets with Crawfish Corn Maque Choux
