On October 8th at 7PM, in conjunction with Louisiana Music Partners and the Recording Academy, the Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans will be co-presenting a facilitated discussion with leading Mayoral candidates to address New Orleans' music economy and their plans for its growth and development. Candidates Moreno, Duplessis, and Thomas have all confirmed their attendance. The evening will be hosted by the Jazz and Heritage Foundation and the event will be live streamed by students from Loyola's College of Music and Media. 

The event will be held at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz and Heritage Center (1225 N Rampart St) and will be live streamed via Louisiana Music Partners social media. In person attendance requires an RSVP, and arriving early is recommend as capacity is limited and seating is not guaranteed.
