At this year’s 54th Grammy awards, there are a slew of Louisiana musicians nominated in several different categories. Tune in on February 12th at 7pm on CBS to see who takes home the trophy, but in the mean time, join us in congratulating the nominees here!

Michael Hurtt and His Haunted Hearts

Michael Hurtt believes you are never done with New Orleans. Although Hurtt has lived in Detroit since Hurricane Katrina and his guitarist J.D. Mark hangs his hat in Mississippi, they still manage to team up with New Orleans band members, steel and electric guitarist/banjo player Mitch Palmer and upright bass player John Trahey for regular tours and New Orleans dates.
