Sax Gordon and Joe Krown met in Boston in the early 1980's. They played together in numerous bands and ended up being bandmates in Luther Guitar Jr. Johnson's Band (former guitar player from the Muddy Water's Band) in the late 1980's. Krown left Guitar Jr.'s band and Boston to join legendary Clarence Gatemouth Brown's band in 1992. This show is a rare reunion for Sax Gordon and Joe Krown.

No other performer on the scene today brings to life and pushes forward the great tradition of American R&B Sax like Sax Gordon.  Currently Gordon can be found leading his own bands and appearing as a special guest with groups all over the globe. He conducts clinics at schools and festivals and also works as a sideman, backing both established performers and up-and-coming artists.
