This body of work is a study of the delicate residue of color and form of Louisiana landscapes, skies, plants, waterways and architecture. Emulsion lifts are made underwater, they are colorful and hazy, much like life in the Deep South. Their quality lends itself to themes of memory and nostalgia, the faded recollections of place.
