The Me N’ You Festival is an all ages event, free for children ages 12 and under, produced by the Trombone Shorty Foundation’s Apprenticeship Cohort. With apprentices ranging from 17 to 23 years of age, the incumbent cohort of the Trombone Shorty Music Industry Apprenticeship Program has both a diversity of mind and of experience. The program offers young artists and aspiring industry professionals an opportunity to actualize their career goals with the support of experienced professionals. The 2023-2024 Trombone Shorty Foundation Music Industry Apprenticeship Cohort is composed of 7 outstanding youth with varying backgrounds in music. Our greatest commonality aside from our youth, is our upbringing in the city of New Orleans. 

The group has been tasked with producing an event that celebrates the youth of our community while showcasing their own professional development. We hope that the First Annual Me ‘N You Fest will be the first of many, and that our shared time inspires everyone to make time for creativity and joy even after the festival ends.
