This Mardi Gras, we dug deep in the vaults and unearthed two vintage WWOZ Mardi Gras specials which have rarely been heard since their initial broadcasts.

Tune in Sunday, February 14, 10am-12pm CT, to hear WWOZ's 1994 Mardi Gras special hosted by Dr. John. This two-hour special was originally produced for WWOZ by John Sinclair and Tim Green, and features lots of amazing live music recorded by 'OZ in 1993, plus interviews with Mardi Gras Indians and more. It will also air at 7pm CT on Lundi Gras, and 2pm CT on Mardi Gras Day.

On Lundi Gras, hear Billy Delle's Mardi Gras special from 1996 at 9pm CT. It will also air at 6pm CT on Mardi Gras.
