Feeling French? Celebrate Bastille Day in the neighborhood of French Creole aristocracy! Neighborhood merchants will have food and beverages for sale. Local artisans will have their crafts and art for sale. Prizes will be awarded for the best Marie Antoinette or Napoleon costume. Bring your dancing shoes, your friends, and relatives! Harmonouche with Raphael Bas will play French dancing tunes from 5:00 and 9:45 PM. Cynthia Scott will sing her stirring rendition of “La Marsellaise” at 5:30. Everyone is welcome. Participants include: 1000 Figs, Cafe Degas, Chef’s Brigade, French American Chamber of Commerce Gulf Coast Chapter, Liuzza’s by the Track, Nonna Mia, Lola’s, Pal’s Lounge, Santa Fe, and Swirl Wines.
