Build and strengthen relationships that will sustain your nonprofit! Raising money from people who care about your nonprofit is a powerful and important way to raise unrestricted funds, to reflect the community's support for your mission, and develop sustainable support for your work long-term. And for many nonprofits that have experienced cancelled fundraising events, shifts in revenue-generating programs, or reduced grant income, raising funds from individual donors has become even more essential in the past year. This workshop shares the best practices based on what decades of research have shown us, as well as what we've learned during the rapid changes of the last 14 months. You'll learn: How to identify prospective supporters, ask people to donate, and deepen the commitment of people who give to your nonprofit; How donor relationships and fundraising have changed in 2020 and 2021 (and also what has stayed the same); and What to say, and how often to say it, to maximize the engagement of a donor. Attendees will receive a Certificate of Participation for completing the workshop. In order to provide support for nonprofits during the current health crisis, we are offering this workshop as a live, virtual workshop through Zoom. Once you have registered, you will receive information on logging in and joining the workshop at the specified time. When: Wednesday, April 21 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm CST Registration cost: $20.00 Register at: https://builddonorrelationshipsin2021.eventbrite.com For questions, please email email@example.com.
