Crescent City Cat Club Road Rally

Saturday, October 31, 2020 - 2:00pm
After 3 years in business and hundreds of cats rehomed, The Crescent City Cat Club, the only cat "cafe" in Louisiana, is hosting a road rally on Halloween Day, starting at 2 PM. Entrants will arrive at The Cat Club, which is at 1021 Marigny St., and sign in. Masks are required and costumes rewarded. The street area and picnic table in front of The Club will be used so as to keep activities spread out. Additional Covid precautions include social distancing and using multiple routes in the rally. Participants may choose to walk, bike or drive. After registration they will be given their first clue and take off on their adventures. They will proceed to the first stop by means of guessing the location described in the clue. At each stop they will get another clue to the next stop. A knowledge of The Marigny/Bwater is helpful but not required. The clues have enough hints that one can figure them out, especially with the help of a "smart" phone and their krewe. Teams are encouraged. (There is also a "hint" number to call if one gets stuck.) The rally will finish at The Cat Club, where prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and first entrants back from the rally. There will also be champagne and cake to celebrate our first three years rehoming cats and providing hours of cat "therapy" to our visitors. Call The Cat Club at 1-833-NOLACat for more information.
