Deutsches Haus Kulturabend

The Deutsches Haus Kulturabend will present Anthony Bultman doing a talk on his father Fritz Bultman, an American Abstract Expressionist painter, sculptor and collagist on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Presenting with him will be Emily Siekkinen and Kristina Larson of Octavia Gallery. Fritz Bultman, while born in New Orleans, was one of the New York School of artists known as the "Irascibles“. He is considered a very important artist who helped to change the American cultural landscape, according to David Houston, curator of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Doors open at 3:00 pm with food and drink service available. The Deutsches Haus is located at 1700 Moss St., New Orleans, LA 70119 The event is free and open to the public with ample parking in the rear of the building
