13th Annual Faubourg St. John Bastille Day Block Party! When: Saturday July 13th 2019, 4:45PM – 9:45PM Where: 3100 block Ponce de Leon, between North Lopez and Esplanade, New Orleans Feeling French? Celebrate Bastille Day in the neighborhood of French Creole aristocracy! The 2019 Faubourg St. John Bastille Day Block Party will be on Saturday, July 13, 2019, between 4:45 PM and 9:45 PM. Neighborhood merchants will have food and beverages for sale and an arts market. There will be two bands and a costume contest for the best Marie Antoinette or Napoleon costume. Bring your dancing shoes, your friends, and relatives! There will be dancing between 5 PM and 9:30 PM. Jaime Lynn Vessel will play 5:00-6:45PM and Harmonouche with Raphael Bas will play from 7:35 to 9:45PM. Cynthia Scott will sing her stirring rendition of “La Marsellaise” at 5:30. Everyone is welcome. Participants include: 1000 Figs, Cafe Degas, Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association, French American Chamber of Commerce Gulf Coast Chapter, Liuzza’s by the Track, Nonna Mia, Lola’s, Pal’s Lounge, Santa Fe, Swirl Wines and Toast Cafe.
