Listen to great music and raise a glass to raise funds to help save forested wetlands that protect our community. Join Woodlands Conservancy to celebrate World Wetlands Day and 17 years of our work to Save Our Sponge, the forested wetlands serving as a critical line of defense for the Greater New Orleans area. PATRON PARTY: The Patron Party will begin at 6 pm in the Bolden Bar. Patrons will be offered complimentary spirits, gourmet appetizers, a raw oyster bar by Acme Oyster House and music by Harry Hardin’s Jazz Quartet. SAVE OUR SPONGE CONCERT: The doors will open at 7 p.m. for Save Our Sponge Concert guests to peruse a wide array of Silent Auction items before selecting their General Admission seat. The concert begins at 7:30 pm with Tom McDermott’s fingers dancing across the keyboard of the Steinway Grand Piano followed by New Orleans Big Easy award winner Joe Krown. Solo performances will be followed by a masterful duet by McDermott and Krown. Libations will be available for purchase.
