The Brain Injury Association of Louisiana/Louisiana Chapter United Spinal (BIALA) announces their 11th annual conference March 9-10, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport (Kenner, LA). The conference will host more than 18 distinguished speakers, including physicians, educators, licensed professional counselors, adaptive technology professionals, social workers, music and art therapists, and physical therapists. Accomplished national and local brain injury and spinal cord injury treatment professionals join the conference to round out a diverse roster of workshops, lectures, and informational sessions. Over 28 sponsors and exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate the latest assistive technology and provide resources for people with disabilities. Conference registration closes March 2, 2018.
"The speakers at our annual conference represent many important facets of working with individuals with disabilities and helping them return to a productive life – themselves, caregivers, relationships, resources, technology, adaptive equipment, service care providers, and much more," said Kimberly Hill. "We feel that it’s important that all aspects of survivors needs be addressed as we work toward our common goal of improving the lives of those who sustained injuries or disabilities."
Free for survivors and their respective caregivers; $25 for students; $100 for professionals
