More than 350 middle and high school students from the area will display the results of their scientific inquiry at the 62nd Annual Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair (GNOSEF). Student exhibits will be available for public viewing on Tuesday (12:00-1:30 p.m. - middle school) and Wednesday (3:30-5:30 p.m. - high school) afternoons and Thursday (9:30-11:30 a.m. - high school) morning. More than $60,000 in cash/non-cash awards, prizes, grants and scholarships will be awarded to GNOSEF winners, teachers and schools on Thursday evening, March 1, 7-9:30 p.m. in Tulane's Lavin-Bernick Center. GNOSEF is presented by the Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair, Inc., H. Britton Sanderford, the Patrick F. Taylor Foundation, Entergy Corporation and Tulane University, in partnership with Core Element, Loyola University, UNO, and Women for a Better Louisiana. For information: www.gnosef.org.
