Second Annual New Orleans Bourbon Festival Returns March 2018

Food, spirit and culture will converge once again for the Second Annual New Orleans Bourbon Festival, to be held from Thursday, March 8 – Saturday, March 10, 2018. The spirited theme for the sophomore congregation is “Bourbon Generations,” which will feature families from long lines of Master Distillers, including Fred and Freddy Noe of Jim Beam and Eddie and Bruce Russell of Wild Turkey. Taking place in downtown NOLA at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) and Le Meridien hotel, Bourbon Fest promises a plethora of events certain to please the most discerning bourbon enthusiast. Beginning with exclusive pairing dinners on Thursday, the weekend long festivities include informative seminars with expert panelists – beginning on Friday at 11AM and Saturday at 10AM– and a two-day Grand Tasting on both Friday and Saturday, from 7PM-11PM. Festival goers and bourbon aficionados can roam about an outdoor marketplace adorned with Bourbon-centric products; taste the finest bourbon in the world like Woodford Reserve, Breckenridge, Knob Creek, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, Michter’s, and Sazerac; and nosh on bites by New Orleans’ best local restaurants. Unique to this year’s festival is an exclusive Stave & Thief Society Executive Bourbon Steward Class on Monday, March 12th.
