In an effort to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King and 20 magical years of the Jazz Journey project, this year’s celebration will encompass a two day extravaganza. The first day will kick off the ecumenical service where various religions and denominations will unite to celebrate through praise and worship. The two day program will conclude with It’s a Jazz Thing, a celebration of Jazz music from local, state, and national artists. This year will feature appearances from nationally acclaimed artists Theo Crocker and Carmen Lundy.
