Volunteers needed, parade free with Joan of Arc

Friday, December 15, 2017 - 5:00pm
Volunteers needed to walk security and carry banners for the Joan of Arc parade, costume provided. Sign up by Dec. 15 to parade with us on Saturday January 6 4:00-7:30 p.m. This short French Quarter walking parade is an only-in-New-Orleans mix of a Twelfth Night parade and a saint procession, celebrating the birthday of French heroine Saint Joan of Arc, Twelfth Night and New Orleans' French heritage. The medieval theme parade mixes whimsy, satire and reverence. Our "foot soldier" volunteer members get a costume and are invited to all krewe events. Sign up online http://joanofarcparade.org/get-involved/membership/88-2/ Costume pick-up is on Dec. 10 or Dec. 17 or Jan. 1.
