Drummers,guitarists, poets and more are together on one night for "100 Thousand Poets for Change NOLA" The message is inspired by the amazing godfather of spoken word, Gil Scot Heron whose poem "We Beg Your Pardon, America" says it all. Poets and Organziations from New Orleans, Lafayette, and Morgan City will bring: 1. a petition to rebuild the coast and provide jobs to our state 2. inspirational poetry, dance and music 3. information on CURRENT projects and a chance to share ideas for future projects for our state FREE admission Donations are permitted and will be given to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
