The New Orleans Concerts for Indigent Defense, to take place on Saturday, March 18, 2007, bringing local and touring musicians together to bring awareness of this Nation Wide Problem.
We are presenting Concerts for Indigent Defense to say that our city, our state, and our nation must respect every person’s Constitutional right to a lawyer when accused of a crime.
Our legal system explicitly relies on such lawyers so that it can dispense justice. But with current budget cuts, it's making mounting an adequate defense a daunting task.
We believe in justice. We believe in the Constitution. We believe in our communities.
Through music, on March 18, 2017, we will bring them all together.
We welcome all to join us - at our shows, on this list, and in making things better.
