Adult musicians who are fluent on their instruments and who can read music at a basic level or above are invited to come out to play! Under the direction of acclaimed saxophonist, bandleader, composer and educator Khari Allen Lee (KhariAllenLee.com), this 6-week non-audition performance class is a chance to hone skills in ensemble performance and improvisation while networking with potential collaborators and passing a good time in a light, supportive atmosphere. The spring session entitled "NOLA Mix Tape" will be a survey of New Orleans musical styles and rehearsals prepare participants for a final concert on April 22.
