Start:  Venus Garden Continue out Oretha C. Haley to Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left onto MLK. Continue out MLK to S. Liberty St.

Pause S. Liberty St. and MLK Proceed out MLK to Magnolia St. Left turn on Magnolia St. Continue out Magnolia St.; crossing over Louisiana Ave.

Charlie’s Corner Bar Owner.  Continue out Magnolia St to Marengo St. Turn left on Marengo St. Proceed out Marengo St. to S. Saratoga St. Turn left onto S. Saratoga St. continuing out S. Saratoga crossing over Louisiana Ave again.  

The Bar was in the movie Ray: Continue out S. Saratoga St to Second St. Turn left Second St. Continuing out Second to Magnolia St. Turn left on Magnolia St. to Third St. Left turn on Third St.

The smallest bar uptown with panel walls: Continue out Third St to LaSalle St.  Right turn on LaSalle to Washington Ave. Turn Right on Washington Ave.  Proceed out Washington Ave. to Washington Ave to S. Rocheblave St.

This parade is dedicated to Adella Gautier (Actress on Queen Sugar, also known as Adella Adella the Storyteller), James Thompson (Nik’s Grandpa) Courtney Meads (VIP Parent), Deidre Nelson (BlackyNiece), Mrs. Iris (Shaka Zulu mother), Eric Henry (Jerry Husband), Troy Hogans (Byron Hogan), Cheryl Williams (One of our Founders), Uncle B (Mrs. Seal), T-Connie (Gilda Aunt), Sylvia Ferbos (The great Lionel Ferbos daughter),
