The Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans, with title sponsor Hancock Whitney, have announced the 25thAnniversary of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night, which will take place Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 5:30 pm to midnight. Held in the heart of the Arts District of New Orleans across the 300 - 700 blocks of Julia Street, art lovers will have the opportunity to explore specially-curated exhibitions of local, regional, and internationally-renowned artists at more than 20 of New Orleans’ finest galleries and arts institutions, including the Contemporary Arts Center, The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and the National WWII Museum. The Julia Street block party also features cuisine and cocktails from more than 30 local restaurants and vendors, and is free and open to the public. The celebration will continue from 8pm until midnight at the Hancock Whitney White Linen, After Dark official after-party at the CAC, featuring DJ RQ Awayand “HI, DENTITIES!”, a curated drag performance by Vinsantos and performers from the New Orleans Drag Workshop. Event-goers can skip the lines and purchase tickets in advance for food and beverages, for the CAC’s Cool Down Lounge at the Green Room at Auction House Market, and for the Hancock Whitney White Linen Night, After Dark at cacno.org or at the Contemporary Arts Center, located at 900 Camp Street.
