No Gentrification on St. Claude
It is disheartening to see so much socio-economic gentrification in corridors traditionally associated with family owned minority businesses. In my opinion St. Claude, South Rampart, and Oretha Castle are victims of a well intentioned yet fundamentally misguided revitalization effort. Not to knock the main street programs all together, but why are we always bringing in people who have no background or understanding of New Orleans to decide the city's future. I want an authentic New Orleans not a contrived version of my former city
