A special thanks to members of The Session, a New Orleans based group of young jazz musicians who are presenting a series of performances featuring themselves and/or other groups every Thursday night in February known as The Sand Collective (Same Art|New Direction). It happens at the Degas House, 2306 Esplanade Ave., with performances of two groups beginning at 7 p.m. Donation gets you great music plus a free drink and jambalaya.
