Playlist for August 27, 2010 from 6:00AM - 9:00AM

Current New Orleans Time: Fri, 3:14am

Playlist Date & Time: 8/27/2010 6:00AM - 9:00AM

Program: Morning Set with Raymond Kent

Sunday, two days from now, will be the 5th anniversary of when the Hurricane changed everything for New Orleans and the Gulf coast.

The sad news that was announced this week is that Donna's Bar & Grill is closed permanently.  It's unfortunate to lose another music venue, and a shame that there is now no music venue at all on Rampart Street.  But I wish Donna and Charlie all the best.  It was a great run, and they hosted a lot of terrific, entertaining, and sometimes amazing music.
