Pharoah

I caught only 20 minutes of the show yesterday and it was great. I thought one of the songs that followed a poem was called Pharoah and was a remake of a 1959 song - and maybe even had James Singleton on it - but don't know if what I caught was correct because I don't see a song name Pharoah listed on your playlist? The little bit I caught was really great - and like the other person who asked - are the poems available in audio?

Thanks,

Rachel

Drowned is the name of the song

on a cd entitled "Tangle Eye" - it's a Rounder release.

The poems are not yet available. It's a matter of the artist releasing them.

thanks

poems

I too would like information on how to get an audio "copy" of the poems -- or maybe simply a print-out?

I'm particularly interested in the poems by Brother Hollywood.

Your show was wonderful.

the poetry is not available

until the artist agrees to a public release.

thank you for tuning in,

How can I get a copy of today's poems?

Hey George Ingmire,

Although I wasn't able to hear the show in it's entirety today, I REALLY appreciate what you put together on the anniversary of Katrina plus BP's abuse of the Gulf. Could you please tell me/us about a couple of the poems that you shared today? Your playlist only lists: "Moose" poem. I'm assuming that means Raymond "Moose" Jackson. What's that remarkable poem called? When was it recorded? Where? Can I/we purchase a copy of the poem in audio and/or print? If not, would you and/or or someone at OZ play it again soon? Similarly, I'd also like to know about the Chuck Perkins poem that played at the end of your show.

Thank you!
