The Theme-less Show

We usually feature three hours of music and sound clips exploring conceptual themes.  Tonight, the music avoids themes (although the sound clips couldn't be tamed).  Instead we focus on the band names that end in "Sisters" or "Brothers" or "Combo."  

Sure it's a goofy approach to presenting music but don't worry we're not covering the lay ups of the great Cowsills, the overexposed Jacksons or their nemesis (nemisi?) the Osmonds.  Not even Sister Sledge fits.  Tonight, we're only playing band who's name ends in "Sisters" or "Brothers" or the super-hip moniker: "Combo."   

One exception is ripped from today's front page headlines (always wanted to write that phrase):

There are so many investigations and adjudications of local politicians that even the Saints were desperate for column inches in today's paper.  Same with the local unbeaten NFL team.  

 I sure hope nobody remembers how we screamed Louisiana was unfairly portrayed as corrupt in the post-Katrina days.  How 'bout if we call it "ah-shucks favoritism."  You know like innocently helping your family and friends.  Like our judges have been using the scale of justice as a back scratcher.  

Box Score

No box score tonight because it was such a weak show.  I had a break down in my brain-jaw coordination which was centered at the brain end of the connection.  I should have foreseen it when I saw the two prostitutes hanging around my house before the show.  That's always indicates my world is out of phase.  

Sure enough, after the show I'm three blocks from the station when a very drunk guy plows into the back of my car.
