I would like to thank Joyce Harris, who was our special guest on tonight's program. She, along with her sister Judy, navigated the New Orleans music scene from 1958 thru 1962. With appearances from the local Saturday Hop on Channel 4 with John Pela to the national televised Dick Clark's American Bandstand including many live music venues; Joyce Harris rocked with the best of them. (i.e. "GOT MY MOJO WORKING", "NO WAY OUT", "NOBODY BUT ME")

Joyce's Great Grandfather was 1/2 Cherokee Indian known as Strong Bear. The name "Strong" came from her grandfather. Her first name was suppose to be Sinna (to give it an exotic sound); but when the record was released the name "Sinner" was transposed instead.
