Playlist for January 21, 2009 from 11:00AM - 2:00PM

Current New Orleans Time: Thu, 10:03am

Playlist Date & Time: 1/21/2009 11:00AM - 2:00PM

Program: New Orleans Music Show with George Ingmire

Yes indeed, I am doing another birthday show. This for Snooks Eaglin
born January 21st, 1936 - I will be playing music from as far back as
the 1950s (solo, with Sugar Boy Crawford et al) up until his Black Top
recordings. Somewhere along the way, I might even dig up a live
in-studio performance by Snooks joined by the EOTU - Tain't it the
Truth.

So Tune in, Turn on your tape recorders (or Flash cards) for a couple hours of the Human jukebox.

New Orleans Music Show 12pm to 2pm

PS - While I'm thrilled about our new President, I don't believe
that we should relax just yet, so the first hour (11am to noon) will be
some great jazz/post-inauguration experimental chaos including Naked on
the Floor and Dr. John.
