In the streets and clubs of New Orleans during the eighties, is where Bonneville soaked up the prevalent back-side of the beat attitude that ran through a lot of the music being played down there. "There were so many great drummers to learn groove and time from, great piano and guitar players to be influenced by, and man, the singers and horn players just made your heart go wild with excitement! This was the place that influenced me the most," he says. "It was infectious. I learned that solid, but laid back rhythm is like a tightrope on which the notes and words can do their dance."

Sean Costello Memorial Fund
To all of Sean Costello's Friends, I would like you to know about the Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research.
Sean overcame many challenges, not the least of which was severe shyness and social anxiety. He demonstrated unbelievable strength to triumph and blaze paths that others could not even dream of. With this in mind, the foundation has specific goals:
* To support research for early intervention and diagnosis
* To provide support for families
* To research the connection between bipolar disorder and social anxiety
* To lobby for health care policy change to afford help before damage is irreparable, and, in honor of Sean,
* To provide funds for musicians who suffer such emotional challenges, but who often have no health insurance and who live in a world riddled with triggers that encourage relapse.
Eventually, it would be my dream to have a center for recovery for musicians and artists, with treatment modalities appropriate for their biochemistry and unique gifts for communication and introspection.

The Devil Had A Woman
Delta highway
2007
In a generation that has forgotten its musical roots, Delta Highway breathes youth and energy back into the blues.
With strong guitar sounds reminiscent of Muddy Waters and R.L. Burnside, combined with a progressive harmonica sound, this Memphis band has developed a style that is all their own and sure to please new and veteran blues fans alike.
Delta Highway was born in the piedmont region of North Carolina, founded by twenty four year old vocalist / harmonica player Brandon Santini and twenty six year old Justin Sulek in 2003.

Lil' Dave Thompson
I Got The Blues
Got To Get Over You
Electro Fi
2006
David Lonzo Thompson was born in Hinds County, Mississippi May 21, 1969. Lil Dave's exposure to music came early and has always been a way of life. His father, the late Sam Thompson played with Willie Foster, Asie Payton, Paul Wine Jones, Eddie Cusic, James Son Thomas and others.
Lil Dave's list of influences reads like an anthology of the blues. His family was burned out in legendary Moorhead, MS (Where the Yellow Dog Crosses the Southern) and moved to B.B. Kings hometown of Indianola, MS. But it was in Leland, MS, (Hellhole of the Delta) and home of James "Son" Thomas and other blues legends that Dave, at the age of 14, formed his first band. He, along with drummer, Dell Cusic and bass player, Allen Hite called themselves The Delta Blues Band. As a teenager, Dave played with various blues, Rand B, Reggae, and gospel bands in the delta area until he met and toured with the late Booba Barnes in 1990.

Musical expression grew out of Bruce “Sunpie” Barnes’ early immersion in the blues tradition carried on by his father and the community around him. “Blues is central of all my music,” he declares. “The music I write, perform, and record comes to me in dreams. It was my grandmother who explained this direct way of receiving information to me.”
