Jelly Roll MOrton's birthday of October 20, 1890 is celebrated in the last hour. We do the same on a more limited scale in the first hour for drummer Cozy Cole and Anita O'Day, but Morton's significance as both a New Orleans artist and a leading figure in this art form lend spcial attention to his works.
