This week, we travel through Brazil, Chicago and, of course, New Orleans on a musical raft with Ray Moore of Brasilliance.  We are also visited by Ultimate Kitchen Commando Jodi Brown for a sampling some nutrient dense food.

Jodi was kind enough to share a lovely fresh bean recipe with us. We have the ingredients listed down below, but be sure to click through the photo slideshow for Jodi's narrative and step-by-step instructions to prepare this simply wonderful,
nutrient rich recipe.

Start with beans & water:
3.5-4 cups of fresh beans

After the beans have simmered for 15 minutes add:
1/2 cup minced vidalia onion
3 ribs of celery hearts (with greens) minced
1 whole jalapeno seeded, deveined and minced (split in half)

Folded in fresh after cooking:
2 large tomatoes, diced
Corn kernels cut off one ear of fresh sweet corn
1/2 the minced jalapeno from above
