On this week’s program, we celebrate music and food and their connection to culture and history. In the first half, Cajun music meets up with fishing, as we enjoy the Lost Bayou Ramblers with some oysters and pasta, alligator sauce piquant, and Hummingbird cake at Borgne restaurant. In the second half, we turn our attention to the Panorama Jazz Band, an ensemble that mixes the sounds of Eastern Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. Alon Shaya, of Domenica restaurant joins us as well to talk about the Passover food he prepares at his restaurant.
