Part 2:

Whether you’re doing the Mississippi Slow Drag or the New Orleans Shuffle, you’re in the right place. During this program, we’ll be exploring music from the 1920s, when Blues and Jazz were musically closer, and then continue on into the 30s and 40s where they grew into more distinctive forms. For those interested in Traditional Jazz clubs, we review venues in the New Orleans area. We also stop by a local market to enjoy some seafood for the Lenten Season and meet up with Mark Romig for a preview of upcoming events in the Crescent City.
