International Jazz Day: NOMA's Jazz Odyssey 2015

Thu, Apr 30, 2015
10:00am - 10:30am

On International Jazz Day (Thursday, April 30), Grammy winners Terence Blanchard and Latin percussionist Poncho Sanchez will host a jazz brunch at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Following the brunch, they'll perform a free 30-minute open-to-the-public concert on the steps of the NOMA starting at 10a. Then they'll lead a second line parade from the museum down Esplanade Avenue to the gates of Jazz Fest.

WWOZ will live broadcast both the concert and, as far as we can, the second line. Then we'll shift over to our live broadcast of Jazz Fest at 11a.
