Trumpet star Christian Scott will be performing two sets at Snug Harbor on April 30. Show times are 9 and 11 p.m., and we'll be broadcasting the 11 p.m. set live on the air and online.
Raised in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans and trained at institutions like NOCCA and Berklee, Christian recently released his best album to date, Anthem, dedicated to his hometown's post-Katrina rage. He's also versatile far beyond the jazz scene, having worked with stars like Mos Def and Jill Scott.

Check out his new CD, Livin' the Tremé Life, available at the Louisiana Music Factory.
