We'll be broadcasting Kermit Ruffins live from his own club, Sidney's Saloon, starting at 10:30 p.m. An alumnus of Rebirth Brass Band, Kermit is a must-hear in New Orleans, performing a mix of funky-yet-trad originals, brass band classics, and traditional jazz tunes like "Tiger Rag".
Check out his new CD, Livin' the Tremé Life, available at the Louisiana Music Factory.
Songstress extraordinaire Theresa Andersson will be performing at 1pm on the Tuesday flavor of Tom Morgan's New Orleans Music Show. We'll be broadcasting it live as it happens as part of our 'OZ Vibes concert series, which is generously sponsored by The Transportation Revolution — the Home of Ducati, Triumph & Vespa New Orleans.
Tune in on air at 90.7 FM in New Orleans or online at wwoz.org to catch this amazing live performance!
This is the most amazing assembly of legendary pianists in the world, and we'll be broadcasting it on air and online as it happens. This year's Piano Night is dedicated to the memory of Eddie Bo, who recently passed. The lineup includes luminaries like Dr. Lonnie Smith (pictured), David Torkanowsky, Marcia Ball, Henry Gray, and so many more.
See our Piano Night page for the complete lineup and much, much more.
