Tanya Boutté will join Sherwood Collins' New Orleans Music show on Thursday (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) to perform live in WWOZ's performance studio. A member of the musical Boutté clan that includes acclaimed vocalists John Boutté, Lillian Boutté and Tricia Boutté, Tanya sings a soulful mix of R&B, jazz, and gospel with an authority few other vocalists can lay claim to.

Midnight Streetcar, led by bassist Cullen Landry, will unleash its horn-laden '50s New Orleans R&B sound on listeners during Jivin' Gene and Neil Pellegrin's Tuesday evening show (7 - 10 p.m.).
