The Satchmo Songbook featuring Lars Edegran, Wendell Brunious, Topsy Chapman & more

On Saturday, August 7, at 9:00 p.m. WWOZ will broadcast "A Satchmo Songbook" live from the Palm Court Jazz Café in New Orleans. The band, led by Lars Edegran, consists of Wendell Brunious (trumpet), Topsy Chapman (vocals), Jesse Boyd (bass), Tom Fischer (clarinet, sax), Shannon Powell (drums) & Craig Klein (trombone). They'll be playing the music of Louis Armstrong in honor of the 10th Annual Satchmo SummerFest.
