French Quarter Fest is one of the must-see music festivals in New Orleans. It's the largest free music festival in the entire South, with around 435,000 attendees last year. For 2009, FQF will encompass 18 stages and over 450 performers, with 250 hours of music!

WWOZ will broadcast many of these performances — from jazz and funk to roots and reggae — live from the new Southern Comfort "Esplanade in the Shade" stage at the Old U.S. Mint, so check out our broadcast schedule below and don't miss this amazing weekend of live New Orleans music!
