Mrs. Judy Adams, widow of the late, great Johnny Adams, will sign copies of her brand-new book, a loving memoir of her life with of one of the finest singers of the 20th century. The signing will take place at the Louisiana Music Factory's retail tent at the Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival today at 2 p.m.
You're invited to attend a seminar on jazz culture presented by Dillard University and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation's Tom Dent Congo Square Lecture Series.
