Every day, WWOZ serves up a 24/7 platter of Jazz, Blues, and Cajun music, with side orders of Funk and Latin and some lagniappe thrown in for good measure. We dish it out from our studios and deliver it live from many of your favorite festivals. But we can only do it with your help!
We want our creative 'OZ fans to design our next T-shirt, so we're holding a contest! We’re looking for something that combines a New Orleans vibe with the warm fuzziness of the WWOZ family. We'll put the winning design on a limited edition T-shirt, which will be available at our Swamp Shop. The deadline is August 1, so start drawing!
Wednesday night 6/24 at midnight, the aspiring tone scientists at Jazz Lunatique will broadcast our annual celebration of the Solstice and twice yearly communication to the Omniverse Arkestra on Saturn by playing 3 hours of the manipulator of time and Space, the knowledge giver of ancient Aethiopia and Egypt, SUN RA!
