The Don "Moose" Jamison Heritage School of Music is a free education program of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. It offers weekly instruction in jazz performance and theory by some of the best musicians and educators in the city. Auditions for Spring 2013 will take place on Saturday, January 12.
Well, after a work trip that covered the past three major holidays, I'm back at WWOZ for another edition of "Jazz from the French Market." First of all, my sincere thanks to Jeff Greenberg who filled in for me. Jeff, you did an amazing job. There's been a lot of new music to come out that I'm itching to play.
