As its gift to the New Orleans community Dillard University’s 65-voice choir and orchestra performs a spectacular array of songs ranging from classical compositions such as “And the Glory of the Lord,” “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah to spirituals like “Mary Had a Baby” and the ever popular holiday selection, “Mary Did You Know.” In addition, other popular holiday songs are performed. One of the highlights of the concert is always the traditional candle light processional and recessional as the choir sings “Fanfare for Christmas” by Martin Shaw.

Our 26th Annual Handel Messiah Sing-Along, led by The Trinity Choir and a full roster of exciting soloists directed by Albinas Prizgintas. The audience is invited to sing the chorus. Scores are provided.
