In conjunction with the 6th Annual New Orleans Fringe Festival, Goodchildren SA&PC will once again host the fabulous and eccentric Fringe Parade. Theme this year is “Superstition”.
Saturday, November 23 is the date; lineup 1:00 at the Poland Ave neutral ground. We roll at 2:00 sharp! Our route takes us up St Claude to St. Ferdinand (salute stop at Alvar), Press to Royal (salute stop Family Fringe), Royal to Franklin, Franklin to St Claude to St. Roch, disbanding at the St. Roch neutral ground.
The Lineup will include: King for Life Al “Carnival Time” Johnson, the Goodchildren Band, Roux LaLa, NOLA Defender, Fringe Rickshaw, Society of Merry Makers, Burning Spear Mardi Gras Indians, Red House Fringe Performers, NOLA Food Co-op, Team Happy, New Orleans High Steppers, Crescent City Kings Football, Girl Scout Troop 40467, Homer Plessy Community School, NOLA Cherry Bombs, Happenstance Theater, the Highland Lakes Players, the Reese Johanson Collective, Bate Bunda and the Dukes of Debris, plus various other Fringe Festival performers and VIPs.
