'OZ's new New Modern Jazz Concert Series Features Local Legends at the Prime Example
Out of response to a dearth of modern jazz offerings in the local live music scene, WWOZ's Soul Sister reconnected the station (where she's done a show for nearly 2 decades) with local jazz enthusiast, promoter, and Prime Example club owner Julius Kimbrough to present and promote a newly revived concert series, allowing patrons to enjoy and "swing" to living legends of modern New Orleans jazz in an intimate, neighborhood lounge setting.
The Prime Example Jazz Club and WWOZ present "Thursday Night Swingin'."
Where: The Prime Example Jazz Club, 1909 North Broad St.
Admission is $15. (WWOZ members receive special discounted $10 admission with their membership card.)
