Cooking Demo: "Don't Waste the Bones". Chefs Brian Bosarge and Eddie Gaden of Beck 'N Call Restaurant will serve Smoked Turkey and Sausage Gumbo.

Vegetables: Tomatoes, zucchini, squash, radish, broccoli, bell peppers, jalepeno peppers, cucumbers, egg plants, carrots, green onions, onions, garlic, various sprouts and shoots, sweet potatoes and new potatoes, assorted lettuces, mushrooms.
Seafood: Shrimp and crabs and oysters.

Locally raised beef, chicken and quail.

Dairy: Pasteurized, non-homogenized whole milk, skim milk, chocolate milk, cream, Creole cream cheese, soft and hard cheese, goat's milk and assorted goat's cheese.

Yard eggs and quail eggs.

Honey: Local, screen filtered clover honey, with and without the comb.

Herbs: Rosemary, tarragon, parsley, cilantro, dill, thyme, sage, bay leaf, catnip, lemon thyme, fennel, mint, oregano,, lemon balm and other hard to find potted and dried herbs.

Baked Goods: Old world breads, sugar free breads, cookies, short bread, pound cakes, scones, pecan pies, croutons, muffins, Italian cookies, carrot cake, granola and flan plus wheat free, gluten free, sugar free muffins.

Prepared Foods: Pasta, pasta sauces, hummus, pesto, cheeses, stuffed artichokes, capanata,authentic Mexican salsas and black beans, vegetable pate, raw spinach dip and other raw foods, Turkish specialties, Greek foods, Honduran specialty foods, Mexican tamales, salad dressings dips, barbeque sauce, pickled vegetables, jams, jellies and chocolates.

Plants: Native trees and shrubs, camellias, azaleas, day lilies, iris, maples, orchids, hanging baskets, ferns, bromeliads, herbs, bedding plants, annuals, perennials and vegetable plants.

Fresh cut flowers.

All natural dog treats.

Homemade goat's milk soap.

Fresh squeezed juices, popsicles and fine blended teas and fresh roasted coffee beans.

Market is open each Saturday, rain or shine, from 9a.m. to 1p.m. on the side lawn of City Hall, 609 N. Columbia St. and Wed. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire.
