HBO’s Treme hosts 2nd Annual “My Darlin’ New Orleans” Auction and Celebrity Gala

HBO’s Treme, currently filming in New Orleans, hosted the 2nd Annual “My Darlin’ New Orleans” Auction and Celebrity Gala and raised over $100,000 to be split by The Roots of Music and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic and Assistance Foundation. WWOZ broadcasted live from the event.

The evening included musical performances by Glen David Andrews, John Boutte, Washboard Chaz, Tom McDermott, Aurora Nealand, Matt Perrine, Paul Sanchez, the Pfister Sisters and The Roots of Music Marching Crusaders. Celebrity guests from Treme included: Melissa Leo, Clarke Peters, David Morse, Wendell Pierce, Michiel Huisman and India Ennenga, among others.
